Market Insight: Establishment of Multi-Brand Operations In 2024, Zung Fu Group established a new multi-brand operating model, setting the direction for the company’s future development. Wilson Lam, Director of the Multi-Franchise Division states, “Zung Fu Group started developing its multi-brand business as early as the millennium, acquiring dealership and distributorship rights for smart and Hyundai in 2002 and 2003 respectively, and became the exclusive distributor for Foton in 2014.” Recently, for passenger cars, Fu Chong Motors and Futeng Motors, members of the Zung Fu Group, were appointed as the general distributor of the new-generation all-electric smart, and the master dealer for the luxury NEV brand DENZA in 2023. For commercial vehicles, Fudo Motors, a member of the Zung Fu Group, officially became the dealer for BYD Commercial Vehicles in 2024. Zung Fu Group’s brand portfolio includes Mercedes- Benz passenger cars, Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles, smart, DENZA, Hyundai, Foton and BYD commercial vehicles, offering countless vehicle models including passenger cars, vans and light trucks, providing comprehensive coverage from mass market to luxury segment in both passenger cars and commercial vehicles sectors.
