The apprenticeship programme at Zung Fu drives us to learn both mechanical and electrical competencies while providing a variety of hands-on challenges. As we transition into the era of electric vehicles, we are armed with the expertise and essential abilities. The apprenticeship programme, in my opinion, is highly visionary.

Throughout my apprenticeship programme, I was provided with ample support from my mentors and colleagues. The company also encouraged me to participate in competitions to enhance my practical skills, and each experience has served and prepared me for my current role.

Zung Fu is an inclusive company that places a high value on succession planning. Despite becoming a team leader at a young age, there were times when I felt lost and uncertain. However, my colleagues and superiors were very understanding and willingly shared their experiences and problem-solving skills with me. For young people who are interested in joining the apprenticeship programme, my advice is to remain maintain your curiosity and proactively learn about the ever-changing technology along your learning journey.

I joined as an Apprentice Painter in Zung Fu. During my apprenticeship, Zung Fu has always given me a plenty of opportunities to try and rotate to different fields of work. It also allowed me to discover another side of my competency, and subsequently transform into a Service Advisor. As a Service Advisor, I have the chance to work closely with various departments and build strong relationships with customers. I strive to empathize with customers' perspectives and find solutions to their problems, which conveys our sincerity and makes it easier to handle cases. Customer satisfaction and appreciation are my never-ending source of motivation.

As an employee from an ethnic minority background, I have felt from the very beginning that Zung Fu is deeply committed to diversity, inclusion, and equality. This has given me a profound appreciation for the company's culture and values.

In my daily work, my colleagues and management team often support and encourage me to showcase my uniqueness which makes me feel respected and valued.

During my apprenticeship training as a technician, I had the opportunity to intern in various maintenance and logistics departments, including the engine repair, bodywork, paint, invoicing etc. The company also provided new vehicles for technical trainings.

From my experience, I learned that regardless of the position, it is important to have a solid understanding of the job content and nature and provide efficient and high-quality service to customers.

For young people who aspire to participate in the programme, I encourage you to lay a strong foundation during your learning journey, as it will benefit you in any department or position in the future.

Take an active learning attitude and actively delve into automotive technology, which will benefit your career development.
